I have always enjoyed a variety of sport and engaging regularly in physical activity, be that gym based, out on the road, or a variety of classes, and so I decided after 10 years of office based work to have a complete change in direction and become more involved in the fitness industry. 

I started out learning the intricacies of the human body with a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology, and then carried on my learning, finally becoming a REP’s Level 3 Personal Trainer.  As a gym member I never saw the necessity of a Personal Trainer, because I was already exercising, but when I look back I never really knew if what I was doing was the right thing to meet my goals.  Now that I am on the other side of the fence, and a qualified PT, I know that I could have worked out far more effectively and reached my goals in a shorter space of time, with much more motiviation and correct technique. 

As a PT I see myself as an aid to better training; someone to further your understanding of what exercise works for you, target the areas that you want to work, to reach your goals when sometimes they seem so far away and motivation has declined, and someone to advise on nutrition and a healthier lifestyle overall. 

I will work with you to achieve YOUR goals in a way that suits your lifestyle and commitments, whatever your current condition or ability.  Whether you want to achieve your ideal weight, tone up, build muscular mass and definition, improve your sports performance, flexibility and coordination or just improve your general fitness, well being and confidence, I will enable you to take control in a way that is safe, effective and sustainable.

I live on the outskirts of Beverley and originate from the south of the Bridge, having connections at both sides I currently cover Beverley/Hull, East Yorkshire and surrounding villages, Brigg/Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire and surrounding villages.  If you are slightly further affield and would still like to train or discuss training and a programme going forward, then please do not hesitate to call or email me.
